I was pretty stoked when I saw this short piece on SF tattoo artist, Grime. And even though this video is also on Fecal Face, it should be reposted and reposted. I approached Grime in 2000 or 2001 at the NYC Tattoo Convention to see if he was interested in my mint condition Tommy Guerrero “Iron Gate” deck. He had a collectors edition list of boards on his website that he was willing to work on you for. This deck wasn’t on the list, but I thought that I would try anyway. He wasn’t and I still have never been tattooed by Grime. I had a copy of his book, Two Year Autopsy, and there was this molotov cocktail that he did that I just found plane hilarious. I befriended the owner of that tattoo later on in life.
So here is 12 minutes of fun with some nice commentary by Chris O’Donnell, Civ, Henry Lewis and few others at Skull and Sword.Part 2 of this is around the corner.
